The unit comes without instructions or the tool that is needed to compress inwards the plastic collar to release the old hydraulic hose from the slave cylinder. Luckily you can find good instructions for replacing these clutch master cylinders on the 'net. I bought a removing tool through Amazon once I realized it was needed.On my 2000 Chevy K3500 it took me about an hour to remove the old master cylinder and hose. Biggest issue was the old plastic compressing collar was brittle and broke. Luckily I still managed to get it to come off after some wriggling and prying gently. The new one went back on, and due to the already bled nature of it, it was working without a hitch. It is a great product just lacking instructions and special tool.
