Bought this in May and only after 1.5 months, the motor died and won't circulate any air. To boot, it is past the 30 day return policy for Amazon so I can't seem to get my money back or exchange for a different motor. I'd save your money (and time) and go to the auto parts store for a new blower motor that may last longer than a month and is much closer to OEM part quality....

Cheaper than auto parts, fit great but isn’t 100% the same as factory. Idk if anyone has addressed the fact that the extended air piece from original didn’t fit but it looks like it may have an upgraded way of cooling off with a built in piece. Looks like. Fixed my AC issue which was the air flow and only working on high or if I kicked the motor. Yes. I changed the resistor first and then the relays and still had the same issue. Only cost 40 and was SUPPOSED to be same day delivery which it was not! Messed with my timing but at the end it did fix my issue. I will update this if it goes out or if it stays working on a month or so and then on. I have a 2011 Silverado and it was easy. Took 5 mins.Edit, bought this a year and a half ago and already going out. Get weaker and makes a noise as of about 2-3 months ago.

About 18 months ago my AC blower motor started making a ton of noise. It got to the point where I could no longer put the blower on high because I could feel the shaking in the pedals. At a trip to the mechanic on an unrelated issue I asked for the price to replace the blower motor. $350 according to them. To my uneducated mind that seemed totally reasonable. I didn't have the money at the time so I waited.I finally decided I'd had enough of the 106 degree heat with less than half my blower motor strength so I decided I'd get this thing fixed. On a fluke I checked and the part was super inexpensive. I figured that the install must have made up the remainder of the cost until I looked on youtube to see just how difficult an install it would be. In my 2007 silverado the only tool required was a 7 mm wrench to take off the sound baffle. Once I did that the old blower motor turned out of place, I removed the wiring harness and attached it to the new motor and turned the new one into place. It took longer to get the dirt off my pants than it did to install this blower motor. I know many models aren't as simple but if you've got a mid 2000's Silverado, it probably is that easy for you as well.

Works perfect, sealed unit. Only issue is the fitment, tabs are not exact and requires a little persuasion to fit. Once in, you're good to go.
