Had to modify the bracket holding the wires for it to fit in my drz-400sm and it still doesn’t even work properly don’t waste your money

Put this in the wiring was longer than oem. After a couple days of riding on it, I heard grinding in the flywheels area turns out the stator broke into pieces and destroyed everything.
