The boot was installed upside down in the cap, the cap is too small for the bearing, so the lip sits on top, and the holes don't line up. Also, the banana brackets weren't included in the box. Returning to Amazon and headed to my local parts store so I can get my vehicle back on the road!

The bearing was the only part that matched the vehicle nothing else fit the cv boot was way to small to slide over bearing

This part was not made right at all, the cover part was 1/8 in smaller than the yoke, so as I had the truck apart and needed it for use I modified parts to work for now... I will have to buy another soon... 1/8 of an inch is an unacceptable margin for error for anything automotive.... That I had to grind a seal flange off and create a gasket to make it work temporarily is also unacceptable, this part should have bolted on as advertised. I will not be doing business with this parts supplier again.

Several issues with this kit. The boot came folded inwards, just straightening it out caused several cracks in it. If I hadn’t already packed the bearings with my own high end grease id have returned it right then. Getting further into it I found the 3 bolt connector washer things are missing. I found the included bolts to be way too short, only maybe 2 threads come through to other side, unable to use. I had to reuse the old ones. And finally the round end cap is oversized and took a considerable amount of wacking on it to get it to seat. I should have just reused the old part, once again. I’ll check the boot again before the return period is up, if the cracking is any worse I’ll pull it and return the greasy mess.
