After eight years of enduring year-round exposure to the elements, our pergola’s top finally gave out during a windstorm. It was time to find a replacement, and this new pergola top has been a great choice.The construction is solid, with well-done stitching and hems that are straight and precise. Unlike our old cover, which was slightly misaligned, this one looks neat and professional during setup. The material feels comparable to our original, and we’re optimistic it will last another eight years.That said, we did notice a few differences from the original top. This replacement isn’t quite as long, so when one side is pulled down to block the sun, it doesn’t fully reach the bottom of our pergola. This might be because our pergola has a flat top instead of the rounded design shown in the Amazon listing. Additionally, it’s slightly narrower, which my wife noticed immediately after installation.Another difference is the bar sleeve—it’s tighter than our old one. Sliding the bar through required two people, but once installed, it fits snugly.Despite these differences, we’re very happy with this much-needed upgrade. The white color looks fresh and bright, though we’ll need to clean it regularly to keep it looking pristine (white may have been a poor choice).This pergola top may have a few minor sizing differences, but its durable feel and sleek appearance make it a worthwhile replacement. If you’re looking for a refresh for your pergola, this is a solid choice.

Bought this for my mom’s patio to replace my ne that had been torn by a storm and this worked perfectly! Excellent source of shade!

heavy duty material, withstands good amount of wind. The mesh is filtered so some sunlight comes thru. Which is good in windy areas.

Material is ok, pockets on either end were not sewn evenly smaller on one end than the other..
