Seems sturdy but had to use two grow adults to pry the metal clamp to allow the handle bars. Will never be able to fold the handle bars down now. Wouldn't recommend but to much of a hassle to return.

I got this scooter to start teaching my nephew how to balance on two wheels. While I think it's a bit over-priced for what it is, I'll admit that it's well-made. It's very sturdy and will even support the weight of an adult. My nephew is 9 years old, about 48" tall, and about 80lbs, and he fits it perfectly. The running board is heavily textured, so his feet stay on better, and the entire thing is heavy duty metal. I docked it one star, because the clamp that the handle locks into was closed down too tight. It took a lot of strength and tools to pry it open enough to slide the handlebars in. The way it folds down for carrying is actually pretty crafty and does make it easier to store away. The locking mechanisms all feel secure, so we haven't had any issues with it accidentally collapsing.

The Kick Scooter is the best quality scooter I've seen for the Value. My son is 11 and loves this get up and go scooter. The weight limit is up to 220 pounds which in return let's me ride it also.The deck is anti skid which is great so you don't slip while riding, the handlebars are adjustable with 3 different heights. It also has a back wheel brake that works good. Just push on it with your foot for slowing down or stopping without hesitation.The scooter also folds up for easy transport or storage. It does come with a kick out stand but doesn't work the greatest on certain terrains. It works great on cement and harder pavement but not as well as carpet or grass.The wheels are made with durability in mind. The black tire is heavy duty rubber and the rim is very well made heavy duty, very thick plastic.I can't speak highly enough about this scooter. It's something not only can my son enjoy but I can also without breaking it.

Literally setup so easy an 8 year old can do it. Bought this for my son as a backup scooter for when his electric one is on the charger. Now my wife has claimed it as her own. She says its super cute! They say the weight limit is 220, I'm a little over and one thing I noticed about this myself is it rolls super smooth. Like one good kick and you roll for a good distance. Not sure what kind of bearings are in it that allows this but man they got the good ones in there for sure! Again I'm over the weight limit and the scooter seems to have no issue with me on it. One thing I did notice tho is I've tightened every thing down the can be tightened but the 'column' still seems to be slightly loose. Not a major issue, i would prefer a little more rigidity myself but the wife and kid say its fine and I'm not going to be ridiing it that much so im not going to knock off a start because for the price I think over all its a great buy.

Comes mostly assembled but you will need to install your handgrips. The clamps came too tight for the grips to install from factory so I had to find a pry tool to expand the joint to accept the handgrips. Poor quality control. (see my pic) Steering is tight and gritty. This will probably loosen over time but I expected more quality at this price point. The kickstand is also buried underneath that you will need your fingers to pull out the kickstand. Other models we have can easily use our toes to activate the kickstand. This is not our favorite scooter.

Great quality at a reasonable price! I see these type of scooters sell for $200-300 so this is a great deal at $100 instead. My 9yr old daughter loves riding around to her hearts content. Very quick and easy to assemble, basically just unfold the scooter and insert the handle bars into the slots.

This is a really great kick scooter. I really like that it was easy to assemble. I also like the fact that it can accommodate wide ranges of ages and sizes with the height of the handle bars. Wheels roll very smoothly and overall this scooter seems like it a high quality product. My only minor complaint is that the front wheel seems a little stiff to turn with the handle bars but I think that may improve with use.
