This Scotch tape is absolutely terrible. The cutting edge doesn't cut the tape. You have to cut the tape with scissors to get it off of the role.

Scotch tape is my favorite brand. Transparent is my favorite kind. Buy with confidence. You will not see it on your paper at all. It does have a shine to it if the light hits it just right, but it is much better than that satin look tape to me. Sticks without any issue.

All tapes are NOT created equal. This tape is A-1. It's got a nice glossy sheen on the topside, and great, even adhesion on the bottom. This tape has a special place in my heart. Wow, tape doesn't get much better. What a time to be alive.

For many years, I used Scotchs 'purple' labeled tape. Since coming across this variety, I really like the sharp, clean and clear look. Use this tape for all of my gifts, and projects.

I've been using this tape for many years to seal the tops of sports card top-loaders. It's the perfect width, and is a quality thickness without being too thick. The tape can be removed fairly easily if you make a mistake which cannot be said for "invisible" tape. The price is right as the 1,000 inch size is the largest size they make. Does not get discolored over time and does not peel at the corners either. It will not come off unless you want it off. With a little practice you'll cut the tape so that it makes the top-loaders nearly air-tight which is why I started using this tape around 2004.

It's the standard Scotch Transparent Tape; but I love that it comes in the 1/2 inch. Like the 1,000 inch length; but would prefer even more inches on the roll!
