Not sure what an "Absorbency Pocket" is, but these don't absorb. I've ordered most Scott Hard Rolls before, these are easily the worst, and feel the cheapest. Still functional, so not 1 star.

These are single ply paper, quite thin. Even so they are cost effective for drying hands and wiping up spills. Doible or triple it up as required.

I ordered the hard rolls thinking they would be similar to Scott High Capacity Hard Roll Paper Towels (01000), but have been somewhat disappointed. Comapred to 01000:- paper was very thin- not as absorbant- strong, as in they do not tear easily so Kimberly-Clark Professional 09995 Sanitouch Hard Roll Towel Dispenser is actually quite pleasant. unfortunely I need 2 sheets for most jobs.- so far my favorite has been Kleenex 11090 Hard Roll Paper Towels (11090) albeit you get less length due to them being much thicker. But they dispense easily and are very absorbant.

Hey, I needed paper towels and this was available. I was happy to get it!! It is exactly what I expected and although I gave it a 3 for softness and absorbency this is simply what I think most people would expect from commercial paper toweling. It has no perforations, so I keep a scissors stuck in the tube. It works. Again—very happy to get it!!
