These kilt hoses are thick and if high quality. The colors are deep and the material is solid tightly woven. It has a wooly feel but I am not sure what the material is. It is probably a blend. The fit is great hugging the area below the knees very well. They will be just fine with flashes on. One thing to note is that these aren’t full hoses. They don’t have the foot part. On the top it where they should be and meant to be folded just kilt hoses. But the bottom ends at the angle. You have to wear a pair of socks that these hoses will cover to around the ankle. Mine are black and red so any red or black socks will do. That may actually work well as kilt houses are thick as these are. This material on the feet part would not fit into shoes all that well.

Very disappointed with this order. Not at all what I wanted, not a sock, but rather a sock cover. Buyer beware!
