It's time to put a stop to weed-infested lawns - take action with Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5. This weed killer and lawn fertilizer utilizes WeedGrip™ Technology to grip onto and kill the lawn weeds you see and the ones you don't. It controls over 50 listed weeds, including clover, dandelion, and plantain. In addition, this product feeds to thicken your lawn and crowd out any future weeds. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed5 when weeds are actively growing and daytime temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is wet from dew or watering, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ¾. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ¼. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application or apply if rain is expected within the next 24 hours. Do NOT apply to Creeping Bentgrass, St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Carpetgrass, or Lippia. One 11.32 lb. bag covers 4,000 sq. ft.

I bought this after not buying it for the last couple of springs, because it did more damage than good. It killed the weeds in my front and back yards, along with some of my grass. This year, I figured I'd give it a try again, and the first thing I noticed when I cut the bag open, is that it looks and smells different, so they've changed the formulation since I last used it. I put it down, and it not only killed the dandelions and clovers in my front and back lawns, but it didn't kill any of the grass this time, and the grass thickened up. Whatever changes they made, they were for the better, and I'm happy about it. I did notice that the bag was smaller than it used to be for the same money, but that seems to be something that catching all over the country. What can you do?

I should have taken before and after photos. After reading some of the other reviews, I was skeptical if any product would take care of my dandelion infestation. I have a few weeds left, but my whole lawn is no longer yellow!!

I previously bought the liquid fertilizer from Spectricide, which slowly took weeks to kill weeds. With one application of Scotts Turfbuilder, the weeds stopped growing, and most died. After a week, I cant see anything but green grass. It's a bit pricey but still less than paying a professional to treat the yard.
