Good product. I have other types of this 1” ball mount and I like Scotty because the “T” bolt goes all the way through from the ball to the base. making for a strong connection.I have broken the ball off the mount on the other type.Scotty uses a nylon type lock nut which takes some effort to screw down but you know it’s locked. You could substitute a non lock nut to make the connecting easier but you wouldn’t have the security of a lock.Overall I thought it was a good product.
