I left a longer review for the Mac Daddy Bouncer, including some details about these filters, but I wanted to actually leave the information on the product page. For those looking to collect hops from their dry hopping, the red filter will suffice. Anything smaller will lead to clogs. I have used the blue filter in a pinch and it worked okay, but it was slow to filter because of the amount of debris. The white filter is good for yeast particulates, if you're wanting those clear, crispy pilsners, pale ales, and lagers. If you have the multiple bouncers, you could set up the filters in succession to get the best of all worlds. I've done that in one of the breweries I started here in Kenya, and it worked with great success for crystal clear pale ales without having to wait weeks for it to clear. So, if you're just looking to collect hops from dry hopping, just buy the bouncer with its red filters -- you won't need anything else. If you're wanting to make an entire set up dedicated towards clarity, buy the spare filters and an extra bouncer or two. It works wonders.

I purchased this with the additional filters. Great for filtering your beer when going form the fermenter to the keg or bottles.

Well, you really only need the finest white screen. I wish that they made the white available by itself, or included it with the kit. If they do, I overlooked it! It's nice to see all the sediment left behind and not making it's way into the keg, no one likes floaties. You still want to keep your siphon out of the yeast cake, as this isn't a true filter, but no way you'll end up with hops in your keg. Even if you end up siphoning some yeast, you'll pull whatever made it's way through the screen out of the bottom of your keg with your first pint, provided you let the keg sit for a day. Highly recommended, there won't be a batch in the future where I don't use this.

Work really well it's just a shame you have to buy anotjer standard mesh to get the finer one. A pack of two finer meshes would be far more useful.

Been looking for a solution for filtering pellet hops when racking. I bought a pump to pull beer through the filter but wasn't necessary. The blue one had a lot of hops in it. Very satisfied.

A worthwhile investment! Used with the Bouncer MacDaddy filtering system for sediment-free beer. Not a drop wasted using these filters. Easy to use, sanitize and clean afterwards. I highly recommend this product.

Bought the filter housing as well as these replacement screens. Really just needed the fine mesh screen but not sold separately. My beer is as clear as it has ever been. Takes on a little air but did not seem to affect the taste.

These filters are perfect.Others have said they help clarify their beer. I don't know about that. It's not fine enough to filter particulates that would cloud a beer. That being said, if you're dry hopping, the fine-mesh filter is fantastic!
