the display works perfectly if you need another one but mind you that the camrea dosent work if you install it. the camera is basically just a display and it doesnt function when you open the camera app or if you need to use video calls

It was very fiddly work to install it - but it worked perfectly. Make sure you closely follow instructions from some online video.

My wife ordered this and I installed it for her. It took a little over 2 hours but went well while watching videos of how to install. The color and fit match exactly with the MacBook Air. A couple of hints. Have 8-10 little cups (one ounce works fine) labeled with the screw types: Cover top, cover bottom, hinge, wifi cover, etc. This will make it lots easier to replace the tiny screws. Replacing the tiny screws is actually the most time consuming part. Second, one video pointed out that the battery connector goes in better of you slide the edge away from the contacts in first then snap in the contacts edge. The color is good, the camera works. Happy with result.
