The backlight did not work out of the box. Plugged my broken screen in to confirm it wasn't the cable, backlight worked on old screen. Also after initial assembly before I learned the backlight didn't work I took the protective plastic off just to discover a scratch all the way across the screen. I will be asking for a refund
