Keep in mind that the videos might not be a perfect match for your specific laptop, as manufacturing processes can vary. Take your time, be patient, and don't worry if small bits of plastic fall out during the installation.Replacing the display screen was relatively straightforward. All necessary tools were provided. I used an extra piece of cellophane tape to secure the new screen's connector. The larger piece of tape over the connector was likely RFI shielding, so I tried to reuse it. I added a strip of cellophane tape to hold it in place.Here's the laptop I delt with: HP Laptop 14-dq1033clNo instructions are in the box, but the included tools were awesome.

Had to find a how to video but theee were some on the Internet.Screen did come with some tools which was helpful.Took a little time but was able to do it.Be gentle while doing it.Decent value. Works perfectly. Definitely recommend this.Laptop is good as new.

Used to replaced cracked screen on a Costco 14 in HP laptop HP 14-DQ1033CL. Works great. Looks great. Included was a small set of tools to install the display screen. No other tools were needed. The included tools were very helpful. I found installation YouTube videos on the Internet which were helpful. Fast shipping. Screen packaging was good. I would purchase again and I recommend this laptop display screen.

It took a little effort to make sure I had the right screen, but doing the screen replacement myself saved a lot of money. Install was a little trickier to do myself, but in the end it looks like it did the day I bought the laptop. Excellent value.

Box got beat up and item broken in transit. Screenarama refunded me and the replacement looks great. With any fragile electronics you'll sometimes run into shipping damage and having a company that responds when you need them to makes all the difference
