I had an old thinkpad t470 laying around with dead pixels on the top left and all across the top, I spilled coffee on the keyboard rendering it useless last year. I dug it up from the closet and decided to revive it. The keyboard was easy to swap and nothing is lost, the screen fix was painless beside prying away the glue strip and apparently the edge of the old IPS gloss display had cracked! and with the prying of the old glue strip it turned into a glass mess, happy to report the display is still working 5 months later, not that I use the laptop much as its an old potato laptop, but still happy to type on it once a while. kinda hope laptop today and later down the line is as easy to work on.

First screen I received did not turn on after connecting it to the laptop. After some trouble shooting I called the company and they sent out a replacement right away. The tools that came with the screen were very helpful.

I bought a second hand T470 that had a poor quality 720p display with terrible brightness and color accuracy. This was a massive step up from that. As long as it consistently works over the next year or so, I think this was a good purchase!

I received a LP140WF6-SPM1 panel with no dead/stuck pixels. There are much better IPS panels out there, but not at this price. I upgraded from the stock 1366x768 TN panel, and this 1920x1080 IPS panel is incredible! No backlight bleed, slightly higher max brightness, colors and contrast are sharp, and you can read the screen from any angle.Tip: Use a hairdryer to warm up the glue on the bezel before separating it, and then you can reuse the glue when you reassemble it.

Tried to install, I'm an IT Engineer, seems like not working at all.... will try with new flat, but if the old broken display works with existing flat, new one should too.

Everything required was in the kit, though the separator tool felt a bit alarming at first. Screen worked perfectly and is a major upgrade. Definitely recommend if you got a cheap T470 and want to fix or upgrade from the terrible 720 screen.

Needed a replacement screen, and this one works great. Easy to install, better brightness than the original. All around great choice compared to OEM screen.
