This is great to practice base ten with students. I got it for my second grade students and they are able to complete all sections (all different ways to represent a number) in just one page. They can practice and easy erase it to make corrections. Amazing quality, durability, and good price/value.

Simplicity is brilliance when learning and teaching, and repetition is the mother of all learning---the foundation of comprehension. It is heart-wrenching to see a child struggle as prolonged challenges can lead to disinterest and the risk of giving up, particularly without a support system or someone sticking like glue hanging in there with them and working with them. Hearing an adult claim they are not good at math is equally painful. Math skills are crucial; a lack of mathematical understanding can permeate one's life profoundly and may lead to generational impoverishment. This simply cannot be stressed enough. These dry erase sheets are an extraordinary tool, especially at the grammar school level, enabling them to focus on what they need to master and allowing for easy corrections rather than having to erase and forget where they are in the process. The structured outline helps maintain clarity in their learning process, sparing them the need to redraft their work constantly. Mastering Base 10 is particularly vital, laying a solid foundation for future math endeavors. I have quite a few similar sheets that I have used to support my grandson's education and every sheet has been helpful. However, the sheets do need a hard surface for stability as they are thin and flexible. Having more than one of the same sheet for one or a few children allows for creativity in planting them places for interval quasi pop quizzes. Once mastery has been attained, I will donate them to a local school, teacher, or parents. Please do not throw them away—these could be the one key to unlocking a child’s future.

My daughter and I use these in our school room. They have been great in helping her understand number sense. She loves using them with the dry erase markers.

These dry erase "boards" work well for students who need more visual support to learn math. I use the word board loosely because they are fairly flimsy (a little heavier and sturdier than laminated card stock but not by much). This works well when using them at desks or at the small group table, but they are not as good to use as a carpet activity. They erase well though and can be used again and again, which is what we needed in our classroom.

These dry erase base ten boards are very helpful for small group work in the classroom. It's a really good visual resource for students. The boards wipe clean easily. They are thin, not like a thick whiteboard which is fine, but something to note.
