I’ve never had Amazon not ship with external box. Two Christmas present surprises ruined due to no external packaging. Also would increase possible porch pirates knowing it was a high price item.

Arrived in perfect condition, very well packaged, and did contain Scrooge (in front of the door, as seen in seller's pictures). Lights turn on and off in rooms to highlight the different spirits, as does the one at the door with Scrooge. The music is more like excerpts from one of the film versions, but sounds good, and is in timing with when the spirits or Scrooge are lit up. The original film is a big tradition in our house, so this is a great addition.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift in November 27,2023. I got it, after 2 delays while it was showing IN STOCK...on January 6,2024 for an order marjed PRIME...CRAZY. service gets a 1/5 stars.SECONDLY, allow these houses have to be repaired when they arrive. From this company...or any other. Something is ALWAYS detached or broken off. This tine it was a window wreath and a actual window that was dislodged. Be prepared with super glue because there is just no point to returning things, especially after the long wait this time. They are all fragile.OVERALL this is one if the nicest village pieces ( along with the matching graveyard and the Ghost of Things Yet to Come). The painting on LeMax buildings and design is better quality, and imaging than many other companies. And the design superior abd more detailed depicting all the ghostly visitors of hrirstmas Eve. I am very thankful that my husband's birthday is January 31so I am saving these for then, now. Don't expect quick PRIME service and you will be fine. Unfortunately I am less satisfied with the figurines and fi d them to be more sloppy in detail and less proportionate, but this Scrooge residence adds a lovely dimension od storybook quality and great Christmas addition for your villages.

The Scrooge Manor arrived with broken parts (easily repaired) and sloppy hand painting as the images show.I suspect the Scrooge character is a character they already had in stock. As the first image shows Scrooge is looking away from the front door and is standing on a gray base . I popped him off easily, removed the base with a rotary tool and faced him toward the door as he should be. When you turn the Manor on the lights in the windows and over Scrooge blink on and off in a sequence, it's normal. All in all I love having it in my Xmas village, I hope they add more Christmas Carol items.
