I saw it at Divers Direct for much higher price. It’s more visible than a flag alone. You need to add a weight which is not included. Seller recommended 1 lb but I bought a 0.5 lb fishing weight from Amazon and attached it to the bottom of the float considering waive can add some water in the center hole. It’s sturdier than it looks. Hoping boaters understand “diver below” means and stay away from me.

This towed easy. We used a couple rocks in the centre for weight and it worked perfectly.

This is exactly what we needed and everything was perfect. Took it out and used it for two dives with no issues.

I have had three or four of these over the years. Works well and provides a place to hold some extra weights etc. Large profile however does catch a lt of wind so one must be aware of this when navigating as the buoy will pull you as you are swimming. My issue is with the longevity of the float. Eventually each one I’ve had has started to leak after a couple of years so be ready for eventually needing to replace this and always have something to act as a backup.

We swim nearly every day in the Caribbean off a boat. There is a constant risk of being run over by dinghies and other powered vessels. These buoys are much many, many times visible than the standard swim buoys and do not add any significant drag while swimming. You'll need to make a simple web belt and an attachment tether. We just took the web belt and attachment tether from our smaller swim buoys and used those and retired the smaller buoys.

Towed it out on my kayak no problem following my husband who was diving , he took it into the ocean too and no issues . Works great and it’s very stable . He had no issues pulling it to where he was diving

I attached a 1Ib weight to the bottom using the strap that came with the product. Stays inflated for long periods of time. Very durable, and works well even with waves. Glad it has a spot for drinks or general storage in the middle. Excited to continue using this. The reviews scared me, but they must be doing something wrong because this product is great. Read the instructions if your flag doesn't stay up. Mine hasn't had any issues!

It makes my mother happy to thing that if she can see my flag I must be okay, lol... The float and flag are highly visible, no worries about pulling it under water without realizing it (as with foam based flags), deflates to small size, meets the requirements for the State of Nevada when I'm doing practice/training dives in Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side of the lake.

Have only used on a couple dives so far but it works well. Basically a donut with the bottom of the hole closed. On the first dive, we simply put rocks (no sharp edges) in that well for stability. On the second dive we hung 4 pounds of dive weights off the bottom strap, as designed. Had no stability problems in breezy, wavy conditions. Towed well. We liked the line around the perimeter to hold to while at the surface. Basically like a blow up pool toy but heavier duty vinyl.

I bought this float hoping it would at least last me a season but got a seam puncture on 4th use. cheap vinyl inflatables are always a gamble it may last you years or a day but as someone who had to buy and two dive floats in my first season of diving its better to just get a nice one right off the bat.3 stars because the dry middle pocket is a very good Idea and haven't seen it replicated by a lot of other floats.
