…These SE inverters do not last when mounted outside. I’m on my 4th inverter in 7 years. Solar company is still in business luckily so they replace them under warranty with another that will fail in a few years.. You end up with no solar for weeks/months waiting on the delivery and install of each.

I guess I got lucky as my inverter lasted about 7 years before it failed. Now I'm waiting for a replacement and have no idea when it will arrive. SolarEdge is replacing it under warranty but my installer wants to charge a fortune for the labor. Apparently I'm not able to do it myself as theres doesnt seem to be an easy way to contact SolarEdge and they dont like dealing with owners when they used an installer for their system.

Have had my Solaredge based system 6 years. The SolarEdge inverter has just failed for the 3rd time. Yes, it is being replaced under warranty. BUT.....the first time it took over 3 months to receive the replacement and have it installed, and the second time, nearly 6 months. Of course, I had $300+ electricity bills each month it was out of service, and the installer charged $300 to install the replacements. Pathetic system reliability and lack of decent customer service , both by manufacturers and installers are this industry's hidden secrets.

My SolarEdge inverter has failed after less than three years. My solar system installer says that it will take SolarEdge a good TWO WEEKS to deliver a new replacement inverter! So I have a solar system that is WORTHLESS for at least two weeks because SolarEdge's inverter failed, and they can't or won't provide a timely replacement under their warranty. This is costing me money and inconvenience!

Bought 3 years ago and failed after only one year. My supplier repaired it. Now not working because their app failed. Have been waiting since January for replacement. No estimate when it will be available. I will have to pay $650 to update app to 5G out of my own pocket. Company has done nothing to help me in spite of their supposed 12 year warranty. Do not buy this product!

I have one of these and am very satisfied. It is over 99% efficient. The 12 year warranty is augmented by an installer warranty bringing the total warranty to 25 years. Solar Edge is a global company which will be around for those 25 years should anything go wrong. I also like the present-time readout on my cell phone. It is interesting to see how clouds can change how much electricity is made. Love it. Even bought the stock.
