I've had one of these for almost 6 years and it just disintegrated when I used it on my most recent trip. I don't use this bag every day, maybe once a month on average. It's held up fairly well in the past. It has had a few leaks which I was able to successfully patch. I would not say that I'm overly hard on the bag, but it's a bag made for getting banged around in the outdoors, which is what I did with it. I typically store the bag rolled up in a closet when not in use. When I pulled it out for my most recent trip I noticed some of the material at the fold where the bag is rolled up to be cracking. When I was out hiking with it the bottom just unexpectedly fell out, as did the shoulder strap clip. It's like all the glue on the bag failed at the same time. You should know before buying this that while they advertise that the bag has welded seams, they are not all welded. The welded ones are still fine, the glued ones are all failing. $200 is too much to spend for a bag which falls apart after 5 years.

Produit parfait, résistant et pratique, un peu limite niveau du confort pour des grands trekking mais très polyvalent pour des activités sportives et voyage en backpack, juste un peu cher, je voyage en ce moment avec et pour l'instant rien à dire 😉

I bought this pack in 2017 expecting to get a lot of years out of it like some of the boundary water packs I have bought before. I do a lot of canoeing so I always use large waterproof packs.Cons:My first issue with this pack is that the straps where they connect to the bag seem to come off easily after setting the bag down making you reattach over and over.My second issue is that at the top of the bag where the rubber seals are has already began to split 2 or 3 inches in two different places. I have only taken this bag out 11 times since I bought it and now it doesn't properly seal from water. I did not get my use out of this bag for the price I paid.Pros:It is comfortable like most bags with it's design along with the shoulder straps being well padded.

This is a great pack for going to the boundary waters and throwing in the back of your pickup. I received my pack just in time to go to the boundary waters. I did Not get to test the submersion thankfully. But I left it outside of my tent and it weathered through a couple of good storms. One storm we got hail and wind. The contents of my pack stayed nice and dry. I think the price is a bit steep and the aluminum clips came off while they were not being used, as I expected from some other reviews. Other than the price and the clips I have zero complaints about this pack.

This pack is an absolute beast! My husband just took it on his backpacking trip in the Rocky Mountains. He said it was super comfortable and very easy to get on and off even with wearing winter layers. He packed for a 3 day/ 2 night winter trip with extra gear and this bag still had room! Great bag

I went on a camping trip recently at the northern most tip of okinawa. I parked my car about 1.5 miles away from the secluded beach i was planning on camping at. I packed a 4 person tent, 2 camp chairs, a tarp, and various camping items enough for two nights by the time i was done it was packed to about a foot from the top but i was still able to properly seal it. I began my hike along the beach, with the pack being packed well over 25 lbs and the uneven sand the hike was not very comfortable but not unbearble it seemed pretty balanced when you use the straps and pack it right. I put my sleeping bag in a way so that it would offer protection for my back. I hiked through some caves that had about 3 feet of water and light surf crashing into it, at one point i tripped and fully submerged the pack into the water, when i got to the camp site i checked all the gear and was relieved to see all my gear still dry and no damage to the bag itself. After the hike i came away impressed with the bag overall my only concern which was minor is the saftey straps that connect the backstraps to the bags kept coming off when my bag was not full.

These packs are great! Well made, water proof to the max and comfortable. After seeing all the river guides with these in SW Alaska I can see why they choose them. Weather be damned, your gear is dry. Roomy as well as practical. Five stars from this fisherman.

This bag will guaranteed keep your items dry. I canoed down the east coast with all my clothes and laptop In this bag. Don't believe me? Search "canoe York city" on YouTube. You will see the bag in one of the episodes. I still use this bag for travel. It also leaves people in airports with curiosity, I often get asked about what I'm doing or where I'm going with this bag.

This pack costs twice as much as the last waterproof bag I bought--which wore out in a year. I was very hesitant to throw more money at another overpriced backpack. However, as soon as I opened the box I could see that this pack was worth the price. It's the best construction and design of any product I've ever owned. Flawless. The straps have two positions of torso length adjustment the sternum strap has 4. It also has 'load lifter' adjustments. All the straps, including the hip belt can be removed very easily, converting it from pack to a dry bag.It is definitely waterproof--time will tell how it holds up to UV.It's a bit heavy, but I could see myself hiking with this pack. The 65L is really 65L (I was expecting it to be much smaller than advertised, like most packs are). It's a bit overkill for around town. I might pick up a 35L too.Update (September 2017): bag is still in great shape!
