Quality product except for the wiring connection.......there seem to me no way to secure the wires inside except for soldering and I'm afraid that would not hold up for any length of timeUpdate.....figured out ....after finding the tiny set screw how to attach the wires to the base that prompt me to cancel my return request and give the product 5 stars

Looks like a good product but I've cut my thumb attempting to loosen either set screw to attach wiring.Probably going to use vise-grips and mar the surface of the screws but what else can I do?

I like it for what I use it for which is my solar charger. Not connected all the time so want boat connector sealed!!

These have screw tops which I feel are better than the competitors. I don't get to use them much as I don't sail at night. But I need to have my lights set up just in case. The connectors seem like they won't slip like a competitor's product.

haven't installed it yet but first look this is a well made connector and much better than the one I am replacing. internals are all brass, be careful when you are removing the locking screws (would prefer if these were flush allen screws), I dropped one and had to sweep the shop to find it.will update after installation but first look this is very nice and priced lower than the quality should demand.*saw in the questions about polarity, yes this plug will only fit one way due to size of each male plug, only two connectors which I think the photo indicates.

These things are not only great to look at but great quality too. The plug and receptor fit together snugly and they screw together securely. Much heavier and alittle bigger than the 30 year old plastic one it is replacing. Probably weighs at least a pound by itself. Great product and I would definitely recommend it, just don't seal it to the deck with the included rubber seal, do yourself a favor and use Butyl tape.One gripe I have is the packaging. It's the very tight flexible plastic that's vacuum sealed to the part. Makes extracting it a pain, not enough to ding a star but it will look cheap when it first arrives. Don't worry, whatever money they saved on packaging they reinvested in the product.

This is really a top notch product. It was priced the same as plastic connector available locally but is much sturdier. It's been on my boat in saltwater for over a month and looks as good as the day it was installed.
