I thought this would be a nice addition to my boat to monitor my batteries. However after receiving it, I was disappointed in the construction. My chief complaint is that the electronics board for the led is entirely exposed on the back of the unit. I would be surprised if it would hold up very long when exposed to weather such as experienced on a bass boat. The gasket that fits between unit and dash does not seat evenly on edge of the switch trim plate, risking further exposure to the elements. I've taken a photo of the rear of the for your inspection. If mounted in a dry cockpit, it may work great. Hope this helps.
