It does have an annoying beep whenever you connect and disconnect the key. But great other than that.

Mprem will start the seadoo after installing it but will run doe 5-10 seconds then shut off. Tried installing a tethered kill switch still the same. The machine fires up but turns off as if its overheated (it's not I changed temp sensor) or Dess is still working. Its replacing a 278000822. I hope the 1 year warranty is real.

The wire colors were not a perfect match, but with the help of the wiring diagram attached to this review (from another product offered on Amazon) I was able to make educated guesses with high confidence. I am skeptical it will last, but my GTi was literally dead in the water. No electrical response of any kind. It's on its trailer now, and won't go back in the water until Spring, but it starts and revs just like it used to. The price is low enough to justify taking a chance. No DESS programming required...my old DESS key works. (you don't use the White/Gray (DESS) wire in the electrical box...no place to plug it on this device. Jut let it dangle in the box)

easy to install, and works as promised.. just plug and play..no programming needed for the key.. saved me a 4hr trip to PHOENIX,AZ to have a guy reprogram a new key. Once i installed, power came on and my jet ski started...ready to be back on lake now!

First Review:A great price, with next day delivery. Unfortunately the unit was Dead on Arrival. I used the SeaDoo shop manual to troubleshoot the issue and found this MPEM dead. I await a replacement unit and hopefully the next one will be operable.Second Review:After receiving a DOA MPEM Module, I returned the DOA unit and received the replacement 5 days later. I successfully installed the unit and it is operational. Took the SeaDoo GTS out into Lake Michigan to drive over the 6ft. roller waves. Unit operated perfect. My only gripe is there is no data sheet, schematic, or instructions of any type.

I installed this on a 1996 Seadoo SPX. It was easy to install. Color of wires matched. Only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 was that the fuse holders do not have the weather tight seals on them as the OEM one did. No way to use the OEM fuse protectors or to use the spare fuse holder and with the OEM unit. Otherwise is work good. Will need to see how long it lasts but for the cost, I would buy another one if needed.

Works awesome put it in my 1996 seadoo gti and magic everything works right. Really high quality item with great connectors and wiring. Saved my jet ski I almost gave up on.
