2004 Seadoo GTX Limited, oil light came on with a solid alarm sound that would not go away this sensor fixed the problem

This is the sensor that gives check engine code. Ordered it to have on hand if I get more codes on my 4tec Sea Doo. Before part arrived I removed one cup of engine oil because I suspected an overfill situation because I had just changed the oil. The code went away and has not come back. Keeping sensor just in case
