Sea doo jetpump, to ease the installation put ring in freezer for a couple of hours and then install,it will slide in with ease, after it comes to room temperature it will stay in place. Good luck

Re-worked my sea-doo sportster propulsion unit. Works great. Installation advice: freeze the unit in order to make it easier to install.

strong recommendation, a fraction of the price of an OEM, and seems to be of equal quality, I did a lot or reading on how to remove old and small, bottom line the "freezing" of the pump did not allow old ring to "fall out" as represented, I used a chisel to carefully cut the old ring from front to back, pretty easy (drummel tool would work better) then used a small slot screw driver to lift the ring near the cut, takes about 5-8 minutes, I froze the new one and it easily slid in with just a few light taps on a 2x4 which had put across the new ring to finish the install. My ring tolerance changed from about 2/10ths of an inch to 2-/100th, an amazing difference, and noteable restoration of performace. Good produce and excellent price
