I selected this arm to have a variety of lengths to move my Orcatorch and Light-And-Motion lights further out on my camera rig. I also have the 4.4 inch and 8 inch variants.Construction is simple black anodized aluminum construction and the 1" ball has relatively firm silicone o-ring to. The YS end seems to be well within tolerance It's lightweight but not flimsy and shouldn't greatly affect the buoyancy of the camera rig. A couple of dives followed by fresh water rinses have not shown any corrosion develop.
