Important steps before inserting the camera:
- 1.Before inserting the camera inside an underwater housing, make sure your camera is stock - No straps, no additional grips, no lens filter.
- 2.In the camera menu switch your viewfinder mode to LCD/MONITOR only, because you won't be able to use viewfinder underwater.
- 3.Turn your brightness higher to at least 80%, otherwise you won't be able to see what’s on the monitor.

- 1. Anoint the case with waterproof oil and stuff it with tissues;
- 2. Close the case and put it into water at least under 20m for 5 minutes above to make sure its waterproofness.

I got it at a "good price," but the spring for the zoom snapped out right away and Sea Frogs wouldn't fix or replace it. It's a cheaply made, not very high quality product, and the buttons and knobs don't quite coordinate with the TG5 buttons and knobs, but it works decently once you figure out the quirks. Since the aoi ("Olympus") housing is pure garbage that WILL leak, it's just a question of HOW SOON, this housing is better in that respect, because it never leaked for me so far. It also worked for both the TG5 and the TG6. So if you get it for a good price, it's way cheaper than the aoi competitor and less likely to ruin your photos due to leaking.It doesn't come with enough o-ring grease for more than a few uses, but after a great deal of back and forth emails, they admitted that any o-ring grease will work.

Works fine but no user manual provided. There a screw in piece labeled ‘vacuum system pump’ but I have no idea how to use it. Also there’s a battery operated moisture detection warning ( lights and beeps) but when tha battery goes flat it will need changing. Again without a manual I don’t dare try. I contacted them and they said they don’t support there product if sold on Amazon.

I just ordered this product and it arrived with the back window of the waterproof case not attached. How can I feel comfortable about using this product if it’s not waterproof? I hope the replacement one works otherwise I would not recommend this product to anyone. Buyer beware!

The zoom also works to zoom in and then the lever will not pull the zoom back. Therefore, you are stuck in zoom mode once you zoom. Also, I'm looking for warranty info. I've used it about 15 times and the seal is already broken. Flooded my whole camera.
