The necks and bodies are all made in our original location in La Patrie, Quebec. Godin Guitars are then assembled in our Quebec and New Hampshire factories. Keeping the process close to home means our Godin experts and designers can ensure the highest quality with a personal touch. From fretting to sanding, there is more handwork in Godin guitars than you will find in most custom shops. When you buy a guitar from any of our brands, you are supporting a Canadian, family owned company.

Received the S8 EQ a couple of weeks ago and initially was really disappointed. The G strings sounded dead and couldn't be fretted anywhere to make decent tone. Before returning thought I'd try some strings. Installed D'addario EJ 73s. Now it sounds wonderful.Saddle isn't adjustable, but it's now perfect with those 10-38 strings. The Godin strings were very heavy gauge shipped, and couldnt be fretted due to fret spacing and height.Very happy now. Frets at pretty close together for my fingers but getting used to it.Pickup system sounds great through PA.

I've had a Seagull guitar and it led me to have the confidence to buy this mandolin. I was not disappointed. Very nice quality, tone, etc.. No issues.

I liked its look and feel, but with no ability to attach a strap, it was useless for me, so I sent it right back. The refund process was excellent.

Hard on my left hand but I found no way to lower the strings. Also there’s no knob or something at the tail end for attaching shoulder strap.

I'm so happy with this purchase! The mandolin is gorgeous and plays very well (I upgraded from a Rogue). I did not expect it to come with a case and it did. It connects well to an amp and has a good tone and weight to it. I would say the finish is closer to a satin than a semi-gloss as advertised which is PERFECT. I love it.
Nice hat poor shipping
