First off, these cases and made her in the USA! I discovered them at an nra convention and bought one of their pistol cases. Very nice! So when I needed a rifle case, I went back to them. Every bit as strong/heavy duty as the expensive name brands your used to paying much more money on. This case is a beast! It rolls effortlessly. It is my go to rifle case from now on.

I just received my Seahorse case (SE1530) today and it's awesome. I recently purchased a Springfield Saint and needed a storage option for the gun. I wanted something more rugged and durable than I needed, just so I wouldn't have to ever worry about anything happening. I also needed something that could stand up to going out to the desert for shooting / training sessions without compromising the rifle at all.I looked at lots of Pelican cases for my rifle as well as Cabela's branded gun cases and Plano gun cases. I think the Seahorse is by far the best value and option. I think that this case is on par with Pelican quality, if not above. It has egg crate foam in the lid and 3 layers of foam in the bottom. Two layers of pluck square foam and a thin lining of foam on the very bottom. The only thing I think is not as great as it could be is that the foam squares are somewhat large so you can't be as precise when plucking out the shapes you want.It only took about 10 minutes for me to pluck out a good shape for my new Saint and some magazines.I would recommend this case to anyone looking for something to project their rifles or other shooting equipment. I will definitely be purchasing more cases from Seahorse as my needs increase.

This works as advertised, is good quality, and easy to cut out the foam. I fit two handguns (XDS 4.0" and M&P 45 Full Size) and a Mossberg 500 shotgun in the case, including magazines and shotgun flashlight with no problem. I would think that would be about the maximum you would want to fit if you include the magazines. With all of that in the case it was about 35 pounds.The only negatives for me were: 1. I wish I could get a black one at this price and shipping because when I checked it as luggage it came back with black scuff marks, and 2. It was a little difficult for me to cut the pre-scored foam neatly but I'm sure that is the same with all pre-scored or regular foam pieces.Don't know if this link will work, but here is a good review on the product:[...]

This case is SOLID. I can fit my Rifle, Pistol, mags, bipod, grips, mags and much more! I flew with the case recently. Upon arrival at my destination the top was sunken in. My first reaction was the airline mishandling...but I was wrong. The air pressure caused the water tight case to cave...but after you relieve the pressure...it goes back to normal. The foam can be cut or plucked. Make sure to use a very sharp blade when cutting. The casters are great, and it rolls smooth. I used 6 TSA locks to lock it up, and had no problems at all. I wouldn't waste a penny on anything more expensive. Seahorse has proved to be a great case.

arrived in two days (free shipping no amazon prime) Heavy duty case with plenty of room for a scoped rifle "ar-15 in my case", a ton of ammo and all your gear. I like that it has six holes for padlocks, the hinges are tough, lid won't close unless you force it past a 90 degree angle, wheels to haul this beast around. Foam is pre-cut I saved my pieces so it can be reconfigured for two rifles in the future.
