I got this for my manual typewriter (his names Voltaire ;), I had never changed an ink ribbon before so I did need to look up a video on it. The packaging was minimal which was nice, and went in without a hitch. No defects or anything!Ink came off well and wasn't as smudgy as I thought it would be. I have never bought any other ink ribbon so I really can't do a comparison, but this one got the job done!
