all-in-one must-have for the recreational boater. it does not include everything bust very handy for the kayak, rowboat, etc. don't forget to install batteries for the flashlight and coat each end of the battery and the base of the lightbulb with dielectric grease (just use a small amount of this) available from your automotive store.

As others have stated the rescue rope may be on the cheaper side, however you can shop around as much as you like and you will not find a better kit for the price. This kit will keep you legal while on most water ways and is great quality. Way better then the cheapy canadian tire kit I had previously owned.

I got this as a stocking stuffer for my kids who race Optis. The truth is that the Bailer is not the optimal size (its too small) and if the all-in-one feature isn't a key feature then there are better options for all of these items separately.

This is my third one like this because I leave them with the boat when I sell them.I've had to use it a few times with no problem, good wistle, rope Ok, I usualy buy a seperate flashlight for the kit.Basicaly last forever.
