You sink into the foam and hit flat hard bottom. Very little cushion once you put weight on it.

Due to Scoliosis, my spine is quite distorted. None of the pillow/cushions were of any help, so I tried once more with this cushion since it was so reasonaby priced. What a relief! Considering my condition, I can sit comfortably again, after so many tries. Highly recommend - especially since you can't go wrong at the price.

I've ordered a number of these seat cushions and have found few that worked well with my needs. I have a rather larger rear and ordered the XLarge for that reason. It just barely fit my backside, and at 190lbs I suspect larger folks will find this isn't adequate to meet for their backside. They shipped this rolled and vacuum sealed. Upon opening it did have a bit of chemical smell which dissipated pretty quickly. The cushion has a removable cover, the foam is one cast piece so no worry about 'fill'. I am unsure if the cover can be machine washed. Decently made. I love the height and cushion of this. Because of it's height and foam style it offers much better support and cushion than other seat pads I've ordered. The XLarge size fit my office chair perfect. The one issue I have is that the 'anti slip' beads on the bottom do not work and my pad is constantly sliding off my chair every time I stand and sit. It's really annoying requiring me to constantly rearrange the cushion. Otherwise it's very comfortable. I may end up getting one of those anti slip rug mats to throw under my cushion to keep it in my office chair.At the present price of $19.99 for the XLarge sized cushion, that feels with in fair market value. I'm glad I have it!
