This did not fit my lawnmower the way the instructions are so I just put it on a different way. I left the slide rails on my chair and mounted the big part to the lawnmower with the spacers. The flat metal still mounted to my seat under the rails. Then just put together like instructions. Wow does this thing work great. Just turn the knob + until when you bounce it don’t bottom out easily. I was test driving a new lawnmower that had this on it. I asked how much just for the seat he said $1500. I really think this one is better. I know my seat don’t have fancy stitch. Rides just as good or better and I’m not making payments on it. I put it on my Hustler fast track heavy duty lawnmower. Next I’m going to put it on my Polaris pro xp I don’t see why it will not work with alittle creativity. Just wish there was away to put on my 4 wheeler.

I have to say that I am impressed with the build quality and the smooth ride of this seat suspension. This thing is built solid, seems to be using gas struts, it's all a bit on the heavy side but I don't mind it. I rather have the heavy gauge metal to stand the abuse under my 250lbs weight mowing fast over an acre of bumpy lawn. I must also admit that I did not have high hopes for it when I ordered it because I saw these types of products usually cost more, but I had to try my chances with it because the price was very affordable, and my lower back really needs it. I was even willing to even make some reasonable mods if I had to.Well, this suspension exceeded my expectations and worked perfectly. The mounting plates hole pattern options not only matched my John Deere Z330R allowing for easy installation but also provided multiple choices to pick if I wanted the seat more towards the front or back while preserving the original tractor seat adjustment range. The only small issue people need to be aware of, is that because this seat was designed to work with sliding rails, the bottom installation plate has an allowance for the rails on both left and right sides, so if your tractor did not come with sliding rails, you will likely need to add 4 spacers between this plate and tractor and a bit longer bolts than the 3 size sets provided (ending up in a bunch of leftover hardware). That was not a problem in my case because I happened to have the bolts and some half inch hex spacers that I placed with the original slide bushings on top which brought it all to proper spacing height, and this way I still have my seat slide adjustment freedom if needed.Another aspect to know is that the seat suspension assembly does not allow an open cutout under the seat to pass the seat switch wiring through in a more hidden way, but it does provide an opening for it through the back, and a cable extension is also provided. That worked just fine for me, and I put the cable through a cable loom/sleeve just for better look and extra protection.Lastly, an installation tip: Many tractors allow for easy removal of not just the seat but the seat mounting plate; removing both allows for much more comfortable work to mount the seat suspension assembly on the bench and then bringing the whole thing back to install on the tractor (securing it with only 2 screws in my case). Just make sure that you think twice on the tractor seat plate mounting orientation (you may see in the pics that I messed up and installed mine rotated 180 degrees first time...).Now to the ride quality: I honestly have no words to express my happiness with this seat suspension. It has plenty of travel, the body weight compensation adjustment and the gas struts keep the bounce under control, it feels like waltzing on this thing while seeing the tractor under you taking all the rough ground abuse. It really made a huge difference when I tried it yesterday. My lower back is happy, no more pain during and after, and it makes lawn mowing so much more enjoyable -I put some music on my earbuds and had a smirk on my face all the way till the end.I am fully recommending it!

I almost returned seat suspension before trying it as there,s very little damping of the shock compared to my other suspension seat on zero turn I sold but in reality once mounted on my new zero turn it rides much better across bumps than the more expensive complete suspension seat I had installed on my other zero turn. My yard is pretty smooth but this suspension makes mowing much more comfortable.I mounted it on a cub cadet 60" zero turn.

I mounted this on a early 2000's Scag Wildcat which was built on the Imperial system instead of metric, none of the mounting holes worked but I was aware of that before I bought it. Having machine tools in my shop I made mounting this an easy fix and was off and mowing in no time. All of my equipment is old but well maintained and would not hesitate to buy another one for my 1970's Bobcat skidsteer.

I added the suspension seat kit to my Toro Timecutter MX5050 and wow, what a difference. I have a rather lumpy acre that I mow and always had a sore back after the job was done. I did have to drill a couple of holes to match my original seat and frame but the job was simple and results were great.

This thing is a must have for a ride along, install was easy enough but definitely worth the time and money.

It's a great price. I was expecting to have to do a lot more work to install it. It's a lot smoother ride.
