Not as convenient as you might think - it doesn't fit in a pocket and, heavy as it needs to be, is irritating when hung on a belt. But still better than the alternatives I've seen.

This lock is great and among the very best. It is very sturdy, very practical, and almost impenetrable, unless you have a high-powered electric circular saw and half an hour to saw away. This $75 lock saved my $2000 electric unicycle from being stolen, when I locked my vehicle by a subway station in New York City. When I returned to retrieve the locked vehicle a few hours later, it was evident that a thief had been hacking away at the lock, as the plastic exterior had been chipped away, but the lock held firm, remained intact, and kept my personal electric vehicle from being stolen. It is certainly worth the price. That's why I bought a second one.

The main feature of this lock is the clip, unfortunately is very VERY frail. My clip broke after few months, I disassembled the lock to see the situation and the clip system is basically few little plastic pins to set steady the clip. I wrote to them to ask a replace or something, they postponed always and always my issues and, in the end, they dissappeared. I'm very disappointed. Product issues are solvable. Rudeness and indifference unfortunately no.

Nice & compact so easy to carry The lock extends to a length that can easily lock the rear wheel and bike frame to a pole which was always a struggle with my ABUS Mini U Lock with 5.5" length & 15mm shackle.Only CON is that it s a bit heavy but not much heavier than the aforementioned Abus Mini U but with greater reach.

This excellent lock is cheap insurance. It’s very sturdy and versatile with the different ways you can use it. The coating does not scratch my bike’s paintwork. It’s not the total security solution by itself, but when used with a good chain lock, it pretty much deters anyone. Your search for a good bike lock is over. BUT IT NOW!

Heavy duty lock, no question about that.It is heavy, and a previous reviewer was right, it will scratch the paint on your ride for sure.I got around that problem by putting the extended lock in a piece of old bike inner tube when using it so there is soft rubber between the lock and paint on the bike, this also hides the bars and hinges from theives so they have to guess at exactly they are dealing with.Always use two locks though!

Excellent piece of engineering. The key fits with precision and inspires confidence unlike my Kriptonite lock. It is a bit unwieldy to handle, but practice makes perfect. An extra link would have been nice. However, the size and weight that would make negates that. Hooks nicely into the back of even my lightweight shorts and is not noticeable, to the point I keep checking to see it is still there. I would buy again.

WOW this lock is a beast. It’s military grade, build quality is excellent, clips on a belt perfectly and opens easily. There is no way someone can cut through this lock with heavy equipment. Love it!!!

This is a must have lock. I don't own a car, I just commute by bike. What I'm getting at is I use this daily. Not only does the folding ability make this an ease of carry. The durability and security of this lock is top notch. This is a SOLID lock and I leave my bike locked up knowing she is safe while I'm away. My commuter bike ran me around $2500. Zero regrets on this purchase to save and protect my investment.

The quality of the lock and keys is superb. The lock has rubber armor coatings to protect my fixie bike and that's very important for me as I would hate to see my frame getting damaged. My fixie bike is custom made and worth a lot so I'm glad this lock really feels trustworthy and secure. Perfect for locking my bike at work so I feel good knowing that you won’t be able to break this lock that easy. The Clipster also has the added value of being wearable, so I have the option of wearing it on my belt which is really cool. Defiantly my favorite out of many locks I tried before!

I was looking for a solid locking solution for my new carbon fiber bike when I decided to start using it for my daily commute. This thing is sweet! I feel confident in using this over those clumsy U-locks which are huge and heavy, and although the weight is similar its so much more manageable in this size
