I spray it onto the glass inside the mask, one spray per side, rub it around and then rinse. I spray it again after shaking out all the water and then DON'T rinse the product this second application, just like it instructs you to do. I then shake out the excess product. Hasn't failed me yet.

This is a great product. We learned that it's best to clean the mask with non gritty toothpaste, don't use fingers use a washcloth. Apply the product as described, don't rinse out after second step, just shake out any remaining solution, put your mask on BEFORE you enter the water. Never fogged up if applied properly.

I have no idea if the "ARC" sensitive formula really matters or not, but I have not even had a hint of fog in my mask.
