I saw a woman on a quilting video use a thread cutter similar to this to quickly cut apart her chained pieces. So when I saw this, I grabbed it. It works just as well as I had hoped. The base has nice, rubberized feet that keeps the cutter from moving around. The flower fits firmly in the slot of the base with no worry of coming back out until I want it to. It's a lovely item that is very handy to have sitting next to my sewing machine.

This is such a cute daisy well cutter! I keep it right next to my sewing machine, and it's always handy to slice right through all those extra threads. It's super sharp, but due to the unique design it's quite safe to keep out near my machine. If I had little ones, I'd probably tuck it in a drawer, but the blades are down inside each petal area. As each part of the blade gets dull, you can turn the whole flower to expose a new blade part. When all are dulled down, you just open it and turn the entire blade a wee bit, and you have all new sharp parts again. The round blade inside will most likely last a long time before needing to be changed.I love the look of this cutter, how cheerful it is, the convenience of having it nearby, the safety of being able to leave it out, and the ability to use all parts of the blade as it dulls. I highly recommend this cute daisy wheel cutter to others, and am very happy with it!
