This was an OK item. It worked for a while and then it started coming apart like a cheap umbrella. I would recommend it if you did not have to use it every day.

It fits perfect in my 2019 Kia Sorento. It is just like an inverted umbrella super super easy to put up and take down! Less than 10 seconds and I don’t have to reach across my car to fix the passenger side everytime I put it up!! I would 10000000% recommend! The literal one “bad” thing is where to store it in your car. It doesn’t fit back in the leather bag but I just put it in my glove box because it has a Velcro strap around that compacts it small enough to fit in there! BUY IT!!!

Fitting is not that perfect due to a cut space missing for the inside car rear view mirror, rest folding and unfold is easy but the stitching could had been better

The pointed spokes at the end came loose after some time. Now it's even dangerous to handle it without a little care lest the edge goes directly into your eyes.

I love this! I'm a believer in sun shades! I'm sensitive. Without then, the car can heat up even more, the seats can burn my legs, or the steering wheel can burn my fingers. But putting one up or taking one down can take a lot of time, especially if I'm alone in the car. Not any more! I do have to finesse it over my phone holder and under my dash cam, but otherwise, it's very easy!

This is purchased for my VW Virtus.1. The horizontal span of the sunshade is larger than the windshield, so it does not fit properly. On one side it rests against the side window, not against the a-pillar.2. The metal spokes are hinged like a regular umbrella but in this case the hinge rests on the dashboard top and it is likely to cause scratches.3. The weight of the shaft and handle pulls it downwards. Unless you hook it behind the visor while opening, it doesn't hold. The handle is very close to the infotainment screen and I am vary of scratchesDoing all this sitting in the seat is very unwieldy and takes far longer than I would want to.

I honestly didn't know such a product existed until a few months ago when I saw one in an infomercial and thought it was a novel idea. I searched and found a whole bunch on Amazon. It is a little tricky to open what is an expansive umbrella inside a vehicle but with time and practice it may become less cumbersome. The metal spines and the umbrella itself do seem fragile, as though they might break when attempting to open. The material is thin compared to some conventional windshield visors, some of which are more padded than this, so it may be the novelty of it that might be appealing. It even comes with a leather like case, just like an umbrella case, to store away when not in use. I can't say you'll return to a cool car but you will return to a less hot or a warm vehicle, depending on the outdoor temperature, and your vehicle will cool faster after you turn on the ac, than without the visor. It may also help vehicles that may be too hot to the touch be less hot to the touch, in areas where the temps might be in the high 90s or triple digits. A minus for me: the price dropped four dollars since I purchased mine.:(

I love this. We live in Texas and it is way too hot in the summer! Taking my son to doctor's appointments during the day and then putting him in the hot car seat - I just feel so bad. I had to find something to keep my car cooler! This is a great solution. It works like an umbrella and takes 5 seconds to set up. Putting it away takes a little longer if you are going to wrap it up but I just throw it in the seta next to me. After using it once, I was sold! I bought one for my husband and told all my family members about it, so they could buy one for themselves.

I had purchased another umbrella sunshade a couple of years ago that I really liked. The only issue I had was that it was quite wide enough to fit my windshield. There was about a one inch gap on either side. So when my old one broke this past week, I decided to look for the same type of shade, but slightly larger. This was advertised as one inch wider than my old one and two inches shorter in height. I wasn't worried as much about the height, but wanted the additional inch in width, so I ordered this one. The height is fine, but the width is noticeably shorter than my previous one, which was 56". I measured this one after putting it up and seeing much larger gaps on the side, and I measured it at about 52".I just put this up in my car (a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan), so can't comment on the quality with any real experience, but so far the quality seems fine. If it were the size advertised, this would have been a 5 star review. Sadly, I'm disappointed.
