Really liked this cabinet when it first arrived. Placed it amongst some shelves and it fit in like it just belonged there!It made for a handsome wall unit with space for books and Knick Knacks.The problem started at about the 6 month mark. The surface on the top where you would pour and mix drinks began to bubble up. This was not happening due to liquid being left to pool up. I am a clean freak and always tidy up after myself. There was no hammering of sharp objects that could have put a small hole in the veneer top of the unit. It just started swelling up.Over time the veneer cracked and the front edge of the top started popping up and peeling away from the top.The appearance of the cabinet at the top has become unsightly and looks old and worn out.This should not be happening with a cabinet that is only three years old!I regret purchasing this item and would not have done so if I had known how fast it would be deteriorating.

Hardware all too small; none of the pieces could be put together. Top piece came chipped. Product is VERY cheap. Do not buy this product! In the package all the pieces are over 70lbs, so no idea how I can return this as I had to have my son come over just to get it in the house

It does take some time to put together, but fairly simple, I did have two drawer brackets that were labeled wrong, fortunately I caught it before putting it together. It does look good and holds a lot of bottles, sturdy, I like the look of the top. I had to add a lock to the door, I wish it had come with locking doors thou.

So over all I got it up but I’m afraid if I move it won’t hold cause the instructions was a lil tricky putting it together was a little tough but over all I’m happy with the product

There's a faux top. That's the downside, but otherwise it's a great cabinet. Stored all of my Frescati & olive oil shipped in from Rome, Italy.Extremely sturdy! Looks great too.

The shipment arrived one day ahead of promised date, which was nice. It arrived well packed. With enough 'static-cling'-y styrofoam to choke an Olympic-sized vacuum cleaner. Not exactly 'eco-friendly', but it did its job well - NOT a scratch. The assembly is complex (LOTS of tiny screws). Plan on a good three-to-four hours. The picto-instructions are thorough, if a little tricky to follow. To borrow the old woodworker's saying, 'Read twice, assemble once.' One reviewer mentioned the cabinet doors not aligning. This was easily solved by diverging from the instructions, and attaching the back panel LAST! This way you can square up the cabinet, and, voilà!, problem solved. My only quibble (and a minor one, at that), is that the holes for the cam-fasteners that hold the side panels to the base are visible inside the open cabinet, in front of the wine-bottle cubbies (the holes for the top fastening are hidden by the edges of the hanging rack). Maybe two plugs should be included to cover them once completed. In the end, a spritz of black spray paint camouflaged them. All in all, a handsome piece of furniture.
