Was on the boat for 2 only seasons! Rust on the rams caused a hydraulic failure, oil in the water and a big fine!

Bolted these on and had both cylinders fail internally on the first ride so they would not retract. You get what you pay for.

The angle at the outside bolt was slightly off but it still bolted up with out rubbing.Very pleased with the product and price.

Bought this to replace a factor trim cylinder that was 15 years old. Started leaking six months later. Seller won't warranty it because it went on a rental boat. Will be purchasing Merc products from now on. They come complete and will be cheaper in the long run.

I PURCHASE A PORT AND STBD TRIM . PORT FORWARD THREADED HOSE CONNECTION STRIPED IMMEDIATELY. I PURCHASED A SECOND ONE AND ALSO CHANGED HOSE , JUST IN CASE . I INSTALLED IT WITH MY FINGERS AND NOT A WRENCH . ANTICIPATING IT MITE LEAK AS IT IS NOT TIGHT YET , I TRIED RAISE THE DRIVE AND SURE ENOUGH IT LEAK SLIGHTLY . WITH THE DRIVE UP I TIGHTENED IT WITH VERY LITTLE FORCE , AND IT STRIPED ALSO. I THINK THERE IS A DEFECT IN JUST THE PORT FORWARD CONNECTION ON ALL THE UNITES . KEN
