Bought this for my studio and the value is great considering the build quality of the cable. Highly recommend as it works perfectly, everything has high quality fit and build, and was easy to work with.

There are two versions of this cable. One with female XLR ends and one with male XLR ends. The female ends are generally understood to be for input use, and the male ends are for output use. It's pretty much a standard on equipment using the XLR connections. Electricity don't care which direction the cables are labeled or intended by hoo-mons. Just be sure to get the right one so the person having to deal with the interconnects after you don't have to do trial and error. This cable is wired up for the TASCAM standard and should let you handle up to eight (8) channels of audio via the DB25 connector - input or output depending on what you hook it up to.Anyway... the cable is bulky and heavy, but does the job. I have it plugged in and haven't moved it. I think it should last at least until the end of the projects I need it for.

I needed two snakes. I bought one Mogami and, although it works perfectly, was not impressed with the quality vs. price. I tried this Seimic. It's about 90% as nice as the Mogami and WAAAAY cheaper. Audio-wise, I cannot tell the difference. I'd say, save your money and go with these.
