Though cases like this tend to be on the heavy side (especially since this one doesn't have casters), I really love the durability and sturdiness of it. I can use it for travel and also rest gear on top of it without feeling like it risks damage to what's inside. The only complaint I can think of is that it is a bit deeper than it needs to be. The extra space isn't much of a problem in general, but traveling with it would be a little easier if it were about 6 inches more narrow. Having said that, there is plenty of room for all of the necessary cables to fit inside the case.

I have many products from Seismic Audio. When I bought my speakers there, I was able to speak with the engineer in Texas personally about how to set it up with the right amplifier. When I needed some extra hardware to put in rack units, they sent me an extra batch because I didn’t have enough in the first batch. Just a great company all around with great products.

I needed a way to protect my component sound system as I am moving into a more mobile life style. This case is perfectly sized for my AV home theater equipment. The fact that it opens at both ends made wiring of the devices very easy. And when I go on the move, I simply have to remove the external connections and button this up. Wonderful time saver and prevents having to pack my components in a "uhaul box"

Very nice rack the only thing that I don’t like about this item is the length could be at least 10” smaller and will be perfect for one person to carry by its self because otherwise you need two people to move it from point A to point B
