I got this cup to hold toothbrushes and this thing is magical. I put it under running water to see what it would do and it was dry literally seconds later. I want more of these!! I hate the nasty buildup that gathers in the bottom of toothbrush cups and this has helped with that tremendously!

I got this cup and matching tray after my bathroom remodel to hold soaps, tooth brush and water pick. It’s high quality, doesn’t collect dust, looks great in my minimalist, chic new bathroom design. The products are a nice, heavy quality! Great value

This stone toothbrush holder is perfect for eliminating the yuck, that happens at the bottom of the average toothbrush holder. The constant cleaning is not necessary with this one, the water dissolves quickly before it can turn into something more than water. It works great, especially for an away from the sink area that you do not want a lot of water on. Great value and looks nice anywhere in the bathroom. I will be replacing the toothbrush holders in all my bathrooms with these!

It's what I wanted for my "spa" inspired bathroom. The only thing is I read some people received a sander for when it gets dirty and that didn't come in the box for me. I checked everywhere.

This thing is so cool! It dries within seconds! My son was using a bamboo toothbrush holder but after a few months I noticed it was never fully drying and so mold would begin up. This stone holder completely prevents this issue. Highly recommend!

I've used one of these diatomite trays in the kitchen for a long time, so I knew what I was getting into with this toothbrush holder. I opted to get the beige variety.FOR CARE: The instructions say to dunk it before the first use. It will darken initially but lighten after a bit. It did take mine a while to dry but I really dunked her. I let it dry overnight and by the morning, it was fine again.this does include sandpaper to grind off any discoloration this may get over time. Personally, I just toss mine in the dishwasher because I am a menace to society and a professional goblin. I did run this through the dishwasher for science, and it seems fine. I am a low maintenance person, and thus everything in my house has to be, too. I'm guessing this won't last as long with my current care methods but I'd rather replace than ever sand a cup.It does cost a bit more than other listings of diatomite toothbrush holders but I didn't get those cheaper ones and I'm very happy with this performance.This would be an excellent addition to a bathroom with porous counters such as marble or granite, especially if you don't have a lot of drawer space or want to procide a lot of airflow for toothbrushes.

I've been getting by with the regular plastic toothbrush holder for decades. Every so often I pop it in the dishwasher and every time I kind of gag at what's in the bottom. This is such a brilliant solution! This little cup is thirstier than your ex-boyfriend at singles night! Every little drip and dribble is just sucked up and vanishes like magic. No more scummy mildew to worry about; no more crusties hiding at the bottom of the cup. It came with a convenient piece of 00 sandpaper in case of stains. I got the beige, and dry it's a lovely pale pinky-ecru. The simple, modern style didn't seem out of place in my art deco bathroom. It's exactly the right size to hold my slim electric toothbrush and manual brush. I had originally planned to put it under the sink, in the cupboard like my old holder, but this is too pretty! It's out on the counter with my prettier bathroom accessories.
