On the fence about these.Pros: appearance-easy to water-plants grew well in themCons: I found a little mold growing when I removed the insert.I will try these again to see if I caused the mold with organic matter or maybe had standing water that caused an issue.

I purchased these planters for my African violets because these delicate plants are not supposed to get their leaves wet. This planter makes that job easy! The planters come with easy to follow directions for set up and use. They even have little tags for you to label what you have planted! The water gauge lets me easily see when I need to add water and how much water.

These have worked so well for me that I've bought a second set. I have had only one issue with them. One of the bobbers indicating full got stuck and I overfilled the lower part of the planter. Because of this I have learned to bump the indicator a little before adding water so that I'm sure its working at its best. They are such a wonderful invention, and these pots look great spread out in various area in our great room. My plants are thriving with regular access to the water they need at the rate they need, instead of at my whims.

Yery nice pots. Good quality. Very handy to water!!I put a layer of river stones on the bottom then the soil. 2 weeks after the plants are already soaking up the water.I highly recommend the pots and company.

Perfect for my African violets and my other house plants, the indicator lets me know when they need water. My plants adapted well to their new pots, I’ve had them for a year now.

I wanted these pots to replace almost all of mine in current use. Potting soil and plants from the store often have gnats.These were easy to set up, easy to fill with dirt, and put in the plants. They look nice and I'm hopeful they work well.I have ONE issue with them and it's solely my own fault. I shouldn't have filled the water part up when I first planted them, it overwatered all my plants. So if you're going to use these, don't make the same mistake I did. Give them "some" water to help them settle in, then wait till they are dry to put the water in the container. (I didn't water from the top down either, just in the side where it goes directly to the bottom but they were SOAKED.These aren't the most sturdy. They are pretty lightweight even with soil/plant/water.
