I love the look and "fun" appeal of these little spoons. I purchased several sets for gifts as well. But unfortunately, one of my spoons actually had a very thin metal slice still attached to one of the curved edges. I don't know if it wasn't polished enough or what. I feel the need to inspect all the sets I bought for anymore metal fragments.

These are wonderful if you have young children. Our two- year-old foster daughter loves them and claimed one of the heart-shaped spoons as her own. My ten-year-old granddaughter loves them as do all the other grandkids! They’re not super sturdy but they are holding up after months of use by the kids and by the adults, too. Whimsical and charming.

I mainly got these as stirrers for my morning coffee and afternoon tea. They are stunning! I also love the two different sizes, perfect for different sized mugs, big & small! I do put them through the dishwasher (but I don't use the heat dry in general) and they shine back up perfect ready for the next use. I haven't used them with alcoholic drinks yet so I don't know if hard liquor will cause them to lose their luster or tarnish. But they're beautiful enough my husband would like to add them to our bar area. Might have to order a separate set just in case, but so far in the month I've had them they are absolutely wonderful and worth the money! Screw "reusable" plastic ones!
