Was not clearly defined for what size/type of pipe the adapter would coupler to. I have Selkirk 8” double wall and was not defined that the product would not fit that product regardless of the adapter saying it will fit 8”. Needs to be more descriptive!

Overall the part fits like it should. Though their shipping needs some work. They made the tracking but it took 4 business days to either get dropped off or picked up before it shipped and then didn't make it by the promise date. Shipped in just a simple amazon bag so no padding. So of course got bent in transit, but easy to bend back.

Once in place difficult to clean out lower chimney area without unsealing, clean area and reseal. Otherwise was what I needed for hooking stove pipe into chimney flue.

I bought and used this adapter to fit my pellet pipe into a relatively new Selkirk Sure-Temp manufactured wood stove chimney. The fitment was a little strange.... The 8" end fits inside of the Sure-Temp, with a press fit design. A few smacks with a rubber mallet ensures it's set. Seems to be a great fit, very snug. No dust or smoke the entire burn season. I would've liked to able to secure the setup with a few screws, but the lip on the 8" Sure-Temp makes the angle impossible to do so. Still, the design works great and the all stainless construction seems top notch.
