We just had the shower tile done over in our master bathroom, and decided to give this semi-frameless shower door, by NHIA & Co, a try ! It took us (the Wife, and I) about 3 hours to install it, and it looks amazing with the dark grey slate tile we just installed. The brushed nickel hardware on these doors is simple, and attractive, and easy to keep clean. The doors themselves are quite heavy, but glide effortlessly on the frame which seems non-existent. It's a great design ! It definitely requires 2 people to install it, and thought one person could probably do it, I wouldn't chance it since it's glass, and even though tempered, can still shatter if you're not careful. The instructions, while not perfect, will guide you through every step of installation easily. The doors fit most standard tub/shower units, but are designed for a shower exclusively, and look fantastic on ours ! They were excellent priced for the quality of the material, and a great bargain I have no problem recommending. They have a contemporary look to them but will fit nicely in any decor. An excellent buy !!!

The brushed nickel hardware looks very textured, not as light and fluttery as cheap ones. The glass is tempered glass, so it is safe to use. It is very smooth to push and pull, and the roller feels good to slide without any jamming or abnormal noise. The magnetic lock design of the door is also very practical. It can be automatically sucked after closing, and it is not easy to leak. The waterproof strip and the water retaining strip at the bottom are also well matched, and water basically does not seep out when taking a shower. The size is adjustable from 56 to 60 inches. You can measure the size before installation and it can be very accurate. My bathroom is 58 inches, which is just right. The reversible installation is also more flexible, and it can be adjusted to open left or right

I wanted to like this. I really did. However here is the problems I had.1) virtually non existent instructions. Had to make do only with experience and common sense.2) everything nowadays is very thin and unsubstantial feeling. Not everything, but the bulk of the items.3) the fact that the door shattered putting on the last rubber seal. By hand. No hammers or force used. Thank god Amazon sent us another unit.Good luck.

Since my nephew is an installer...he found this tube really easy. But that's what he does for a living. I read the directions (67 year old woman) and found that it wouldn't be that difficult for a normal person to do the install. It is very nice looking and works better than a shower curtain

I bought a new house a few months ago and got sick of using a shower curtain and wanted something that looks more upscale and offers better functionality. This was just what I needed. The glass is thick and weighty, but still glides with ease over the tracks. The hardware in the doors feels high quality and solid.Installation definitely needs two people, given how heavy and bulky the glass panes are, but the process itself isn't overly difficult. I had the door hung within an hour.I haven't had any issues with leaks and it fit my shower pan perfectly. If you're looking for a functional upgrade over a shower curtain, I would highly recommend this door!
