I moved from a modular Harley to full face Bell Race Star. I installed the standard speakers and my ears touched. this helmet has shallow speaker pockets. These are smaller and thinner, helmet now fits better well worth $25.00

Have had my sena 10r set up for 8 years! 1 speaker died. Could not find on sena website or revzilla. Assuming they don’t make them anymore. Was hesitant to order from Amazon (didn’t want knockoff). Didn’t want to order a new system.. hesitant to order bc of mixed reviews.. but they showed up in Sena box and fit/work perfect. Might actually order another as back up!

These "slim speakers" don't fit the SMH10R headset! I don't understand why they would sell a product that doesn't fit.. This listing is a joke.

Perfect fit in my Shoei RF-1200. Direct plug-n-play with my older Sena SMH10-R. Sound quality not top notch, but plenty fine for my needs (music, intercom, phone).

This was an easy replacement, provides sound that’s at least as good but I think better than the original speakers, and gives my big ears more room. I would buy these again.

Based on the answers to faqs with this item I bought two of these for 20s and they dio not fit. Unfortunately I purchased them as a gift and didn't give them in time for a return. Ill be selling these. I wish the seller hadn't said they do fit. I still have 2 stars because they are a nice size, smaller than the stock 20s speakers.

Smaller than the ones they're replacing but the sound is better?? Not sure whether they've been upgraded or not. Not going to moan, they're great

Actually, this was supposed to be a review of the SMH10R but I guess I messed up and placed it for the slim speakers which I also bought. I bought this model because of its low profile design even though I ride a large R1200GS adventure bike. I feel that it is less likely to catch on something and twist my neck in an accident. The battery is small enough to mount inside the helmet to the side of my mouth so the only part that is externally visible is the low profile control unit which is almost invisible on my black and white helmet. The fewer people know I have it the better in my mind. Installation on, and in, my helmet was pretty straight forward. I bought it with the additional smaller speakers that were reviewed as sounding better than the large ones that come with the unit. I haven't compared the two so I can't testify to the difference but the unit and small speakers sound very good. It paired easily with my LG android phone and works flawlessly with it. I did have to go back to the quick start card a few times to memorize the different operational instructions. Each of the 3 buttons performs a variety of functions depending on how long you hold it. The unit gives you feedback in the form of beeps to assist in knowing if you're accomplishing the desired task. The phone function performs extremely well with the mic mounted directly in front of my mouth in my Arai helmet. I am about to pair the unit to the Garmin Zumo 660 I just bought so I can't comment on that operation yet. Nor have I tried to pair it with another headset yet for bike to bike communication. The battery has lasted all day playing music on some long days of riding. I am very happy with this product so far. Oh, and with Amazon Prime it almost arrived before I ordered it.

I own a AGV Grid helmet and the original large speakers that came with my Sena Bluetooth kit was too large for the ear/speaker pocket on my helmet. I have large ear lobes too. They will press against my ears causing it to hurt after a short ride. These slim speakers improved the fitment by 90%. Again, I have large ear lobes. After wearing the helmet for 5-10 minutes, the very minor discomfort is gone. It's like the speakers are not there. Don't be fool by the size of these speakers. They are very loud if you raise the volume. I have not noticed any decrease in performance over the larger ones.
