I have no time to get technical here. So, I am a sound engineer with over 2 decades of experience. This is a great kick drum mic.

Excellent microphone, but I have to say that I'm not entirely satisfied because there was no cable nor stand in the delivery as mentioned in the description.

I've tested this microphone for half a day on a Pearl Masters MCX maple bass drum and it is excellent. I haven't even Eq'd the mic but I'm already getting a perfect sound out of my bass drum. I previously had the AKG D 112, but to my taste the Sennheiser fits Bass Drums more. Just my taste, your might be different.
