Using this microphone for a guitar cabinet. I'm just hanging the microphone in front of the cabinet so I'm not using the included stand. The stand is decent, but some may find the weighted based difficult to transport. The cable is decent too. I was expecting a short cable (10') with molded ends, but it's 20' with metal ends. For me that's great in case I have to fix the cable. The microphone sound is perfect for live performances. Highly recommend.

I'm still becoming acquainted with the E906 mic, however if you're going to buy this mic, definitely buy this bundle. The mic stand mine came with is remarkably good for a bundle freebie. It's so good, I looked it up thinking I might buy a second, and I want to say it was $35 or $40 sold separately. Very heavy, multiple telescoping points, two on the boom, which is usually only found on better tier stands. The cable mine came with isn't necessarily bad, it's got a velvety sheath and doesn't retain cable memory which is nice (in fact, it *immediately* lost the coil memory), but it's plugs are a little off-spec, they seem reluctant to fit most inputs and won't fit a couple preamps whatsoever. Odd how the cable itself is so nice when the plugs attached to it are definitely suspect. Still, it's not bad for a freebie. As for the E906 mic, I can tell it's brighter than a SM57. It's got a response curve switch, which so far I've only used in the flat position. I wish I had a 609 to compare it to, as I want to say the 609 is basically the E906 set flat. The mic's construction has a very "quality" feel to it.Looking at other reviews, it seems not all of us got the same mic stand, but it sounds like some people got a similar cable. So I guess some of the fulfillers might have a little room to swap out different extras. YMMV

I guess the stand and cable are free, but the image advertises a high quality stand with solid base and a pig hog cable. The actual items are a tripod cheapo stand and a generic cable. Better than nothing I guess.

These mics are about as good as it gets for live use on guitar amps. And if your don't want to stand mount it, it's designed to lay right against the speaker grill for excellent pickup. I see people doing this with SM57s at bars and small clubs and it's wrong. The E series Sennheisers are designed for that task.
